Reviews
Just got into town and we found that this place had a half hour from 5:00 to 7:00 so we decided to check it out and to our surprise it was pretty amazing. The happy hour menu has a ton of stuff on it and they're all at incredible prices.
You got to make sure that you can see at the bar as that is where the happy hour is. People were lined up before the place even opened. So if you're trying to get in here for happy hour make sure you come a little early. Once you get to the bar, you get a huge loaf of complementary bread along with olive oil, balsamic and spices. There is a good selection of wines and mixed drinks for 6 to $7 and 3 beers for $3 a piece so it shouldn't
be hard to find something to drink. The happy hour food menu has a couple pasta offerings along with some seafood offerings which are all around $7. You definitely can't beat this place. Their standard dinner menu has some amazing dishes to offer and the decor of this place is pretty cool. The staff was friendly and was able to help with accommodations along with recommending other places in town to see. Will be going back before our trip ends.
Only downside of this whole place is the parking situation... You either valet or you're making a walk to get here.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Luca over the summer and have nothing but glowing reviews for them. The veranda room was absolutely stunning — the perfect venue for a dinner turned welcome party.
As always, the food was phenomenal, but on top of that, the service from the wait staff and everyone working at the restaurant was top notch. Everyone was warm, welcoming, kind and incredibly attentive. Our guests were taken care of with high touch service all night.
My mother-in-law worked with Antoinette to plan every detail and she was exceptional to partner with. Listening and nailing every detail to a tee.
We have received nothing but rave reviews from our friends and family and continue to relive the most perfect first night of our wedding weekend in our minds over and over again.
We come here every time we are in town and it is the best. Dinner, drinks and dessert were all phenomenal and so was the service- George is the best! He made a great experience that much better. One of our favorites and we will be back soon!
Lovely restaurant, but food and service fell very short. Ordered Sea Bass I made the waitress aware that I did not want the Brussels Sprouts, however as you can see they were not omitted. Our waitress was not very attentive she seemed to be overwhelmed with her job.
I absolutely love Sea Bass always order it when available, this one was dry and not tasty at all. Could of been the Brussels sprouts that completely ruined my meal. I did attempt to call the restaurant the following day no answer I left a detailed message regarding my experience. And the fact that I am allergic to Brussel Sprouts and I was sick throughout the evening. I ate one, before realizing they were on my plate. It was dark in the restaurant.
8 days have passed no one has bothered to reach out to me. I live out of state this restaurant was recommended by hotel staff.
Great location, they have valet service enough parking. This place popular with happy hour menu. I have been there multiple times it’s very loud kitchen located right inside the restaurants workers very aggressively taking loud. It’s Italian restaurant it’s not hard to cook pasta. Most importantly is customer service, memories, and atmosphere what you will remembered and want returned, waiters very dry no communication skills she trying to hard but it’s not helping. Not impressed my review base on multiple time being there
I’ve been to all 3 Luca restaurants. Every time it has been fantastic. The service is impeccable at each location and the food is always amazing. This is definitely the place to go for happy hour. I have celiac so I love the fact they have dishes and pasta I can eat. They have an excellent wine selection and strong cocktails. My cousin and I went to Aqua and East Bank last week for happy hours. The calamari is to die for. The bartenders were wonderful. I went to the west location a few months ago and had the same experience.
On a scale from 1 to 10 ....... 7.5
The food was awesome!!! Wonderful taste, good portions, nice variety! It is very, very good food!
The hostess/maitre 'd/wine stewardess was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
However, the waitress - not so good. My party wondered if perhaps she was overtired or intoxicated. She was not friendly, very slow, did not check on our dining, and also made mistakes on our order - if this was Olive Garden I wouldn't care (as much) BUT a high end restaurant where our bill for 3 people was nearly $400 (well-over that after our tip) (also worth noting with two bottles of wine) I expect the wait-staff to be hospitable, happy to serve, accurate, and attentive. --- MAYBE she was having a bad day and normally is a delight, but she adversely affected the dining experience.
The location provided a great view of the city but unusual parking. This is to be expected based on Cleveland and this particular location -- but I will say, the valets were inside at the Foyer of the restaurant -- all of them (4) on their phones... when a nice touch would have been to open the door for the customers, greet the customer, etc. especially since it was raining outside
The facility was clean and well-decorated. However, even with a great deal of advanced notice, we were seated on the covered extension to the building. Being outside (more or less), there were heaters that were very hot and blasted heat to an uncomfortable level - my party's faces were red, and all were very hot. They also had the wrong number of guests in my party, even though reservations were made weeks before and confirmed.
The prices were about $15 - $20 for appetizers, $11-$15 for salad/soup course, $28 - $38 for pasta course, $28 - $48 (for seafood and delicacies at market price) for the entree course, and desserts $11 - $25. The wine list was quite extensive, and the costs varied accordingly.
Overall... (Scale of 1 bad to 10 excellent)
CLEAN = 9
SERVICE = 5 (it would have been lower if not for the good service of wine steward/hostess)
PRICES = 8 (a little high, but the food is very good - service not great)
FACILITY = 7 (too hot, small tables)
PARKING = 7 (it is what it )
AMBIANCE = 9 (great view of the city)
FOOD = 10+ very well prepared, flavorful, good portions)
OVERALL = 7.5 it would have been eight and a half or nine if not for the waitress and the uncomfortable seating
I would happily try again because the waitress might have just been having a bad day. I would request indoor seating at a good-sized table. The food is good!
The food here was fantastic. The saccheti is a must have if you've never been there and the fennel sausage orecchiete was really story! We absolutely will plan to come back here sometime, very easy to make a reservation online as well!
